Back from leg 3 of the “Going Nowhere 2024 International Tour”. Had some really fun shows in Haines, Alaska around the Southeast Alaska State Fair. Played the festival twice with KingSwardFish, plus a bar gig at the Fogcutter, did a festival workshop with Pat Ernst from the Whiskeydicks, and was a celebrity judge for Southeast's Got Talent! As Always, fun crowds, new fans, and the talent in the talent show was through the roof.
Leg 2 of the tour saw us going to Beaver Creek and playing Buckshot Betty's, a legendary place. To Chicken to play the Saloon, to Ferry, Alaska to play and moon a train on the 4th of July, and to Fairbanks for a bunch of shows: Jason's home for wayward boys, the Malamute, and the Cabin where lots of the Chickenstock Flock showed up!
Leg 1 saw us head to Chicken for Chickenstock, playing the Saloon and then 2 nights for Chickenstock, then we played the Potato in McCarthy, the Potato in Valdez, and the Golden Saloon in McCarthy. Plus a cool roadside jam with Scott Staples playing Dead and Jerry Garcia Band songs, where he gifted us a tip jar that has special mojo power. And $10 plane rides just outside of Glennallen.
Thursdays in Whitehorse, myself and Rick Sward will be playing as Moose Springsteen in the lounge at Tony's. Reminds me of my days in the old Tony's playing solo every Thursday or with Taylor…Please come out and support us.
