Long John Silver, Thanks for the kinds words, better than the not kind words for sure :) That guitar on the right IS a warrior, it's had to put up with my singing and antics for 20 years and hasn't self destructed so that says something. Technically it's a Yamaha SJ550 HR. The guitar on the other right is an Ibanez JS1200 Joe Satriani guitar. Would be nice to hang out in Altin :) better yet to just sit around over a drink and play guitar. Roxx Hunter www.IneedANewFrontEndCanYouHookMeUp.com

Hi Roxx, Nice site and love the Yukon music you guys make. Love the guitars in your main pic above! Is that a Jackson and a Warrior guitar? Gotta love the humbucker pickups for that type of tone you use! True fan of the music, hope to see in Atlin or around soon! John S. www.phoenixwindshieldreplacement.com

Hard to Randall, Thanks for the kind words about the fun, intimate show in Atlin, maybe I can be there for the next one. Although this young hotshot might rattle my nerves. It's stiff competition as it is, without young hotshots shooting off. However, may we both in Atlin again at the same time and continue our wonderful talk about music :) I'll bring my keys and you can tickle the fake ivories... Roxx

Jim, here I was trying to be funny with every post (like in MAD magazine) and then you make a wonderful post like that one. I still listen to your wonderful songs all the time. I've been bad at coming out but will rectify that. I've been lucky in that I can still play and so in trying not to waste that moment I play with every band around. Many are so talented but none get me the way your music and lyrics do. I will always remember recording Mysterious Man at Kilmer's studio, the moment was so perfect, missing women in our lives who may or may not have been missing us. Spending our last 20 bucks on food and playing till we could not physically play any more and recording these warm, soft songs. I remember recording Take my hand out at the hot springs, so much feeling. I always picture Douglas beach, a light rain falling... Miss you and I will see you soon... Warmest of hugs my dear, dear friend : ) Roxx

A cool , intimate , fun show at the Atlin Mountain Inn last night. Hoping to make some music with this young hotshot the next time we are both here. Rock on, soldier of music.

Rob, thanks so much for all your kind words in your write up about 'Take My Hand'. Those were great years, buddy; years I never forget; years that are deep within, and forever part of me and... God, do I miss it. We, along with Birch, really did make some seriously good music, didn't we? I lose objectivity but we really did, didn't we... Sometimes, true musical magic; like big time good stuff. Every once in awhile, I get my guitar out and have a go but, for me, with the state, now, of my hands, (it ain't good, Rob), I really can't play anymore. But, thankfully, I can still sing and this I do; lots. But to you, dear friend, I'm so glad you're keeping on. You are an excellent guitar player and a wonderful and talented musician. Never give up on it, okay? Never let them push it out of you! Love ya, buddy! Some day, hopefully sooner than later, I'll be 'retired'. (My shop's for sale right now!) When I get there, my life will be totally changed so much so that you just might get bored with how often you run into me downtown!!! ;-) But whatever happens, someday Rob, let's get together for coffee, okay? Cheers to you and warmest hugs! Jim

Dave and a haircut, two bits! Thanks for the lovely plug for metro towing. I will keep that name in mind should I require towing although the two day drive to get here might make it a tad unfeasible. And what if you were tired and went off the road and you, yourself, needed a tow. A tow truck towing a tow truck would be quite the sight. Then imagine that driver having had a long day of towing is sleepy and goes off the road and then he would need a tow to tow you and the whole things gets quite silly. Perhaps this can be a new disclaimer on metrotowingcalgary's website. ~Roxx~

Meet me on the verandra... Thanks for the kind words. I wonder who is paying you to say such things and how much they are paying you, and can I borrow 5 bucks? I remember the jam nights well. It is interesting that while there are many jam nights there aren't many peanut butter nights... Maybe that will change one day. Speaking of days, may you have a great day and I hope "that feeling" is passing :) ~Roxx~

Hey Roxx, finally took the chance to check out your website. You've done an amazing job on it! Tons of information. I've known you since those jam night times and it has been amazing to see you follow your dream and your heart, and put so much work and dedication into what you love. You are an inspiration to myself as well as others. It's awesome to see the "real you" come out when you play your music. "...it's more than a feeling...." ~Boston~
