A few years back I got to go to Finland, and even play some shows there (a few songs here in there and sang jazz at a big, fancy ball). I spent some time in this city called Porvoo, met a rock star, and had the time of my life. Today is the 100th anniversary of the independence of Finland and I wanted to say congrats to all my friends there. Hopefully soon I can go back there and tour and spend time there. Finland is a gracious, warm, humble, kind country full of love and it stole my heart. Maybe I'd feel that pull even stronger if I went to Sweden since I have Swedish/Viking blood. Anyway, hopefully you all get to experience the beauty of Finland and the amazing people! PS Their musicians are incredible!
