*...May The Moonshine Over Your Shoulder...*

The Yukon is losing one of its musical treasures this month. Alex Machidon, Soul Migration's soulful front-man, along with his wife Emily and daughter Lupin, is leaving the territory to be closer to family and seek out new adventures. Before they go, Whitehorse audiences will have one more night to kick up their heels, and dance the night away, to the smooth voice and charismatic stage presence of Alex.

Saturday night, August 11th, at the Jarvis Street Saloon, it's Soul Migration with opening band Shagadelica. Get down and boogie to your favorite Funk, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Motown, Rock and Pop, played with style and finesse, courtesy of Soul Migration, one of the Yukon's premiere dance bands. You'll hear songs from the 50's right up to present day, and even original music.

Opening the night's festivities is the band Shagadelica. With strong 3 part harmonies and duel guitar attack, Shagadelica takes on songs by Heart, Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, and etc. Featuring Barb Chamberlain on Vocals, Guitar, Flute and Keyboards, Kim Rogers on Vocals and Guitar, Pam Phillips on Vocals and Bass, Roxx Hunter on Lead Guitar, and Michael Millar on drums.

It's only $5 to get inside, and the show starts at 9pm. Support live music!!!
