So for a few years I had these lyrics stashed away that a friend Adam Macleod wrote. I always dug them but was stuck for any kind of music or melody ideas. Then one day as a birthday surprise I sat down and finished the song. It was a tribute to this band called Mr. Vein that we both dug. Musically and lyrically it's just a fun, rock n roll tune. Adam ended up getting the melody of the song tattooed on his arm. And as it turns out Adam has some amazing friends, who I call friends, who got the song tattooed on their arms as well. It's pretty cool, as a songwriter to know that 3 people have the melody and chords to a song you wrote tattooed on their forearm.
