All around the world people sing!

*...Late night laying down vocals in the studio for my album ; ) Can't share it yet (but coming soon!!!), so instead here's some creative writing...

"Once there was a man who tried to stop the sun from setting. It was a beautiful day, almost perfect, and he could think of none better than this one he was experiencing first hand. The sun was shining, the sky was the prettiest blue he had ever seen. The trees were green and the forests were wild. He just stood there and took it all in. He could feel the warmth of the summer heat kissing his cheek and the wind lightly blowing his hair. He felt so close to heaven as if he could touch the sky.

Feeling perfectly at peace he didn't notice at first how the sun was getting a little farther away with each second that passed. Every second he breathed in the beauty it would slip a little farther away. It was so subtle and he was so blinded by it's love light that by the time he realized it was going, it was too late. He couldn't stop it anyway, try as he might. And so, he just had to sit there and watch the sun set on this near perfect day. He reached as far as he could, farther than he had ever grasped with his hands. His feet jumped higher than he had ever leaped before. He strained his neck to reach ever skywards. But just as quickly as he was up, he was down. And with every ticking of an invisible clock that tocked, the sun became that much farther away. He was powerless to such a force, yet he had this constant reminder of that perfect day, so as to keep trying to stop the sun from setting. But the sun was setting. He just sat there as it took its curtain call and silently said a long goodbye.

When the sun came into his life on that perfect day it was not of his choosing and when it left it was not of his choosing. No will power of his feeble, fragile human mind could muster up such strength as to stop what was meant to be. And so as quickly as it came the perfect day was gone and the man would watch the day turn into night. There was a moon, and it rose in the sky. It's light reached down to gently caress the face of the man standing there looking up, but its light was not as bright, and its warmth was a cold blanket compared to that of the sun. And so he said a long goodbye that night to the perfect day..." (Copyright Roxx Hunter 2016)...*
